*a letter to Loraine*

You did ask me to send you a sketch of my plans and I have quite finished them now. There are several different types of tournaments I have been planning on, as you will find out later in this letter. I'd be quite intrigued to find out what plans you would have for them.

I have already managed to hire one healer, Ike is his name, I am quite sure that you have already met him. I might of course be wrong too. I believe the local arena inside the Sanctuary is in anyone's disposal so arranging the fights there would certainly not be a problem? Although I was suggested that I should perhaps find another place since the last catastrophic event at the arena mentioned earlier.

I thought it would be a good idea to hire at least one more healer, in case something bad happens to the first one. A backup plan is always helpful and the crowd loves it when things go smoothly. Now I'm not completely sure whether I should hire regular gladiators or let all everyone willing attend the match. The first option would guarantee the quality in my opinion, but the second one would guarantee that enough shows can be held. The crowd also loves variety.

The different types of tournaments would go as follows:

1. The classic, last man standing, loved by everyone. Although quite messy. The name actually tells quite much about the event itself, all of the attending gladiators would be at the arena at the same time and the last one to stand on his or her feet is the winner, of course. He would also be rewarded according to so.

2. This one I came up with all by myself, I've yet to see such event anywhere. All gladiators get to use only equipment given to them by the tournament organizers. The equipment would of course not be of the best quality and this would certainly give luck a part in the fights. What a perfect way to keep the audience on their toes, yes.

3. If ever possible, the concept I tried in the first big tournament I ever held here within the Sanctuary could be tried again. There is a rather big chance of another catastrophe unless the contestants are selected beforehand though. But the idea is simply to buy a monster service or perhaps just monsters from a source and let the monsters be the first challenge to all the attendants. The one's winning their first challenge would then fight against each other in a classic tournament form.

All of the above can of course be combined into different forms of tournaments. As I already stated above, the audience loves variety. I'd be quite interested in hearing how you would be willing to help with this, since our last conversation did not quite state that, or then I misunderstood something and apologies are in order.
