I have recently learned (thanks to a person whos name I do not remember) that luring monsters to non-player characters is considered cheating. Some players on this server have exploited the game AI on the scripted quests in the duergar mines, I myself exploited the AI today when in Garls mineshaft, I would like to apology since I was the only one who was not punished or warned for this in my party.
I wish noone will do similar mistake as I did.

It's not really an exploit if you're forced to retreat.
It can be if you lure every encounter of a quest to an NPC to kill them for you, but I've never seen someone do that as it sounds especially stupid.

This may partially be our fault because of how I designed many of the quests, however basically as a rule of thumb if you're getting NPCs to do your job for you you can safely assume you're fired and should give up and cancel the quest. Obviously if it's IC to run away that's fine, but apparently it's happened several times that players have been continuously dragging monsters back to NPCs to complete a quest in that manner.
Apology accepted, no harm done.

And I think the core point here is, you can bring enemies past NPC's if youre retreating, but it's lame to rinse and repeat. You shouldnt be going back where you were if you had to retreat with enemies on your tail.
