To the Council

Eleasis 26, 151 Council Townhall Regard Your Traitors

I obtained this from a member of the CDL who was sent to investigate the situation with the dragons.

I am willing to tell the Council now, that this is growing beyond tiresome and this kind of outright treason against the citizens and government of Sanctuary is growing untenable.

The Council must put an end to this. Deurgar mercenaries, the very former Tigereyes who lead the Golden Mercenaries are working with these rebels-seizing control of half our city and interfering with our ability to defend Sanctuary from the threat posed by this dragon.

What is being done to protect the lives of our men, the brave peoples who helped fend of the drow assault yesterdark. The brave scouts who brought us information. If the Council does not bring a swift halt to this situation, or if any attempt is made by the Lower Council's traitors to bring one of these people to treason; the consequences will be dire.

I fear all the Council understands is threats. If these traitors threaten us enough, they will get what they want. They have perhaps two dozen men--two days ago. Now they have hundreds of kobolds and likely will enter negotiations with a Shadow Dragon. Treason is occuring, Sanctuary is in danger, and something must be done about it.

Sir when i went down to check on the Kobolds section in the Alleyways it all seemed to be in order and so i made my way back after speaking with a few kobolds.

Upon my re-entry to Lower as i was walking past that Mary woman i heard a shout of "Oi" thinking nothing of it i walked right on Then "OI you!" was shouted in my direction i was waitin for the Lift at this time which had just ascened to upper leaving me stuck. It was the Hin Golden Mercernary who i believe is called Frem Hill.

The Golden Mercenray next to the Lift locked the lift so i couldnt jump onto it and get back to Upper. I was taken into the Former Tigereye Fortress and shown to a Duerger Dwarf. After Frem spoke with Garv i was taken into a Dungeon looking setting and was looked upon by a footman aswell as Frem hill while this Duereger questioned me.

He was infromed by Frum that i had been sent by a Watchman to spy on lower they. I was then asked his name to which i said i did not know as i thought this to be the best idea. he told me to find out the Privates name in Two days or i will be tried for treason.

This seems quite urgent in my head i thought you should know.

Sergeant Fawkes

The Watch desires to know what the Council intends to do about the dragon. Because its allies and supporters are in Lower Sanctuary, yet the beast poses a direct danger to this entire city--our hands are tied until the Council declares a clear policy.

Sergeant Fawkes

A letter clearly written in poor spirits

Sergeant Fawkes,

My unfortunate colleagues on the Council are a band of incorrigible louts, and do nothing to address the issues brought forth, regardless of how urgent. By my understanding, my compatriots have attempted to contact this Baldev Cole, and his dragon. At the moment, the dragon has sent forth an outrageous request, offering its protection, for an inordinate sum which we are not prepared to meet.

Because of this, we are seeking alternative methods of dealing with the dragon that do not incur its anger or wrath, however given upcoming circumstances, I fear it may not be possible, you'll see for yourself soon. Make preparations to defend the city, but do nothing to antagonize the dragon yet. We will exhaust all options before we deal with this dragon.
