I've been fortunate enough to meet an experienced navigator and pilot recently interested in raising the capital to buy a ship and hire a crew capable of reopening the canal. I'm willing to put up a considerable portion of his required start up capital, but perhaps you are interested in a modest investment.

This action requires the support of the Council, and is guarenteed to increase our knowledge of the region and its history ultimately. Furthermore, it gives us access to the Dark Lake and the possibility to interrupt slave trading along the Lake itself.
