*A letter left for William Brady at the Crone*

*Michael listens to his speech but says nothing, he then later walks up to his room and pens this letter*

William,

I am not certain we have met, my name is Michael Collier and I am a preist of the crying Lord, Ilmater. I listened to your speech a night ago and had some thoughts. Rather then disturb you in the moment, I have chosen to pen them to you now.

Firstly, nobility comes in many shapes and sizes. It is not something to be feared, and as my good friend Strife pointed out, many nobles actually recieve their title from being noble hearted, people who the communtiy respects and follow. Leaders.

I'd like to tell you a story that might make you understand what I mean. Born to a teenage mother, I grew up on the streets. It was when I started to come of age that I realized my heart was in the right place but my means to accomplish my goals were limited. How can you give when you have nothing? More then most things, I blamed the nobles, for keeping the common man down.

It was at this point my life took a turn, my mother whose beauty radiates like the sun was courted by a nobleman by the name of Stephenwolf. Eventually the two married and quite suddenly I found myself thrust into a new life, one filled with afternoon tea and a proper education. I resisted at first but soon I came to know something that had never occured to me before.

The more nobles I met, the more I learned that they are just people, like you or I. Some were good, some were not, but all of them were people. I also quickly learned that these individuals were, on the whole, devoted to our country, Damara, and its people in a way the common man rarely is. They took more stock in the country and the affairs of its people because they had much gain from its prosperity or lose during times of turbulence.

When I decided to go into the clergy, my step father called me a fool. Yet, even he gave substainially to my cause. His friends gave even more and the things we were able to do with those donations saved many, many lives. With greater reasources came a great capacity and willingness to give unto others. So, I would suggest to you that there is nothing wrong with title, and it can, in fact, prove to be most beneficial for everyone.

I hope this helped with your understanding of nobility, at least as it exists on the surface. I wish you the greatest luck in your campain and would like to speak with you about it, when you have the time. I could use your support on many social issues, and perhaps together we can make changes for the better. Ilmater grant you health and happiness.
