just something i noticed in game the other day..

would it be possible to give PC's the option of displaying their manual dice rolls privately and publicly..allowing them to switch between the two..

often if i am bartering i make an appraisal check to see if my character would push further with the negotiation or not...problem is other characters get the wrong idea and sometimes believe i'm trying to 'force them' to play along with my dice roll in a completely unsupported way...

in this situation i'd like to be able to roll privately so only i can see the display thus avoiding any miscommunication.

Press the tilde key on your keyboard.

Type d20. Press enter.

It'll roll in the top left corner of your screen, and you can add your modifier to it, yourself.

Or just buy real dice ;) Those are known to be more precise, and if you got this good dice, which bring you luck, well then, hurray ! :P

but being the apethetic lazy gamer that i am i guess i was going out on a limb to check if it could be done automatically with scripting..

heh ..oh well , back to the primeval method of actually using my brain to do maths.

Just use the consol rolling. It's as simple as it gets and requires no scripting what so ever
