Fer our Thane
This dark, I be hearin' what happened with them gnolls. And it be painin' me fer knowin', but it's worse when I be hearin' ye think ye failed. And sayin' if we be wantin' another Thane, we could say.
Now I be tellin' ye this, as a dwarf to a dwarf. We be wantin' no other Thane. We be needin' ye, we all be trustin' ye judgement. Even when bad thin's be happenin', every dwarf be lookin' to their leader fer support, fer orders or even fer some encouragement. Fer us, we be lookin' to ye. None else.
When I first came to Sanctuary, I be not knowin' me past. I be afraid o' what was in it, and fearfull o' gettin' to know others who might view me different if they be knowin' what I had done. And as me memories be comin' back, I realized I be right. Me clan, me family and me life. I betrayed them all by lettin' that drow wizard fear me into showin' me home. I have never forgiven meself fer that. But in Sanctuary, Frors be tellin' me to let past be past. And by some encouragement from one o' yer elders, Kasin Moonsbane, I asked fer joinin' ye clan. Never I be regrettin' that. Fer in the Stouts, I be feelin' I belon'. Feelin' meself worthy o' fightin' fer whatever the clan be needin'. In the Stouts, I found someone to look up to. And that be yerself, our Thane.
We be all doin' mistakes. Some have great impact upon us, but if we continually blame ourselves fer it, it weightens us down. I be speakin' with one o' those who were with ye. And he be really worrin' about ye, and agrees with me on meanin' we need no other Thane. We need ye.
