Eleasis 19, 151 Ordinant Therion Society of the Ordered Mind Regard SoOM Patrols
I spoke with the Watch about your proposal for patrols outside Sanctuary. There was limited response, but the Watch can volunteer for these patrols when not limited by other immediate duties. I'm afraid Sergeant Marshall horribly misinterpreted the information I gave her, so I'm giving you an interpretation of her response based on what was asked not what she thought was asked.
I'll include our dialogue to provide an example of what I mean.
Eleasis 15, 151 Filed Report Watch Archives Regard SoOM PatrolsThe Society of the Ordered Mind's Ordinant Therion approached me on patrol. The Society seeks to establish a force for patrolling the environs surrounding Sanctuary and wished to have this idea presented to the Watch on the chance we'd have man power to share for the endeavor.
Specifically, I expect this may be a beneficial way to put CDL members to use as volunteers and a healthy excercise for off-duty personel. These are my own observations, and I agreed to report an Officer's opinion to the Society.

Alright you have my permission to help out, but be warned, right now anywhere near the spire, i.e. not far off out of sanctuary is incredibly dangerous right now and I suggest they keep it easy and don't head too far out.In addition, Ordinant Laramie wanted to borrow a ballista of ours to be able to set up some ropes for exploration across a few crevices out in the wilds. You may loan one to him for a deposit of 500 gold. It will be given back upon return of the weapon. In addition, 200 gold will be charged non returnable to cover the cost of large munitions he will require.
If he thinks that is unreasonable, he'll come and see me.
Sergeant Marshall
As you can see, I think she meant I was asking to volunteer for the patrols rather than asking to coordinate this between the Watch and the Society. Therefore, I'll take the liberty of doing so as I explained above.
Feel free to request the aid of any Watch or CDL member who is not limited by active and direct duties; essentially anyone merely conducting a routine non-essential patrol. They are welcome to volunteer for these missions, but they can not extend more than a mile outside the city or anywhere near the Spire.
Please note Sergeant Marshall's statements on the ballistae as well. Contact me directly with concerns or comments, I'll serve as a point for the Society of the Ordered Mind and the Watch/CDL in this endeavor.
Respectfully,
Private Barrister Fawkes
