THE COUNCILS OF UPPER AND LOWER MUST MEET. IT IS TIME TO RESOLVE OUR DIFFERENCES.
The time has come to make a stand and right the wrong doings of the past, the misunderstandings, the violence, the betrayals and focus on the future.
Several Seekers have died in recent days trying to protect this town, both Upper and Lower Sanctuary. We have never ceased to see the need to protect all of Sanctuary's citizens, no matter their birth.
While the Seeker mission is threefold, to find a way back, to free slaves and keep an tabs on the outside threats to our community, sadly in recent days, we've not been able to focus upon the first of these duties. We are stretched thin with our limited resources from the council and are now serving to help protect Sanctuary not only from threats further out in the Underdark, but at our own gates, and even within our own walls.
Only with the help of the Seekers was the lair of the mad druid Tobias located, and his evil spiders dealt with before even more could endanger the precious balance we live in, in these dark caverns. While the losses were grave, they could have been even more so.
Only with the help of the Seekers were powerful officials recently exposed and a slave ring disrupted WITHIN our walls.
Sanctuary is torn in two, the Seekers have now necessarily and selflessly sent some of their own scouts to help protect the gates of lower, while vampires roam freely about the Spire, and drow have been spotted closer to the badlands than one would wish.
With sensitivity to the delicate balance of life here in the underdark, particularly with the outside threats to our community so close, the civil strife within our residence, the town of Sanctuary, cannot be afforded to continue.
Tensions have risen and there are those that would incite a larger breach than already exists between our citizens. Some claim that there are those within our own ranks that in fact do so. There are those throughout Sanctuary that would do so.
There are those that heal. And there are those that harm.
Many of our citizens have lived too long with those that harm. Shall we be tyrants unto ourselves?
The greatest courage is to take a stand, back away from the brink of war and admit our faults of the past. With the delicate nature of our lives here, we cannot afford to be cowards.
It is time for peace. It is time to heal.
As a citizen, yes a Seeker, but more importantly, as a proud citizen of Sanctuary I propose a summit...
THE COUNCILS OF UPPER AND LOWER MUST MEET. IT IS TIME TO RESOLVE OUR DIFFERENCES.
Have courage, and be courageous.
