I am Megara Therion, a ranger of the Lord Fireman and I write to you today seeking advice on a problem I recently stumbled upon. Thrice now, a beast of the Black Pawn have made me its prey, thought it seems content to let me live, perhaps so it can continue this game of cat and mouse.

I have been told that this creature may be some manner of aberrant, a shape-shifter or a plane traveller of sorts. The worshipper of Malar is said to have a shrine in the Spire, but as you know, this place is currently inhabited by vampires which makes travelling there a great risk.

I am wondering if you have any experience with the Malar cult in the Underdark, or if you have any advice on how to best approach the situation.
