A better question to ask is, what is being done about the aberration threat to our city. Currently I'm drafting up several proposals that will ensure the Illithid and Beholder-kin will no longer have thralls in our city, effectively removing any attempts at espionage in our fine city.

Dear Citizen,

I assure you that the defense organizations of our city, both the Watch and the Spellguard, are well-trained as regards the threat that the ratmen commonly referred to as "Chosen" pose. This city's defenders are placed strategically to warn of threats from areas of the ruins commonly held by the Chosen, and groups of Watch Members and Spellguard Agents are prepared at all time to respond immediately and with lethal force in the case of any invasion by these beasts, either on a small or large scale.
