Letter to the Watch

To whom it may concern,

In the past two darks already, I have had the questionable pleasure of meeting and speaking with one, 'Victoria Brackish, who, by my understanding, is intent on joining your organization.

In the entirely brief conversations I've had with her, she has shown herself to be brash, foolish, and now a very clear danger to the city. She has advocated violence against the citizens of Lower, and most recently, has threatened myself in the streets of the city, claiming she has a great desire to "dispense the eye's will upon [me]".

Her desire to join the Watch alarms me greatly, and having such a militant in your organization while the Council is actively seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Lower will be, to my mind, an extreme threat to the well-being of Sanctuary.

I hope that you will reconsider any thoughts you have on hiring this woman to your payroll, and while this time I will allow the threat against my life to slide, I expect that there shall not be another such incident.

Eleasis 15, 151 Councilor Mendren Townhall Regard Victoria Brackish

I regret that your favor of the 11th was misplaced. Victoria Brackish has been inducted formally into the Watch in the interrum.

If you desire, I will pass your concerns on to the Sheriff.

Respectfully,

Barrister Fawkes
