[a copy is forwarded to Barkley and Simms, another letter sent to Delgado]
Who are you? I've never seen you on duty, or met you ever. Another mysterious shadowy figure like Simms that none of the public can relate to whatsoever. I'd prefer someone I had at least heard of answer my letters.
Moving right along! I'll never spend any time behind your locked doors again. I would have sent a letter as a citizen, yet it would've been brashly ignored, as you are trying to do now. You can not hide the truth forever, Operative.

attached for Barkley and Simms is Denten's report
I heeded a summons today against my better judgement to get tested for an Illithid device at the Spellguard tower. Ordinant Eugene and I, were taken into a back room of the Spellguard tower (very likely the same one that Ubel was chained in!) and locked in while the Spellguard Agents summoned their Animatrons to guard us in our cell. We were prepared for the worst, a shadowy execution at the hands of the Spellguard tyrants! Yet instead, they revealed to us their plans to stick a long tube, apparently a testing device into our ears! I know, it seemed awfully dreadful to Eugene and I who strongly suspected this was some sort of implantation device that the Spellguard had created to place spying devices into the heads of its enemies. I was able to briefly examine the device before we made our choice and the results of my brief examination revealed nothing of particular note. At this point we decided to postpone these tests until we were better able to understand the machine that was to be inserted into our heads. At this point, the evil Agent Ferrington left the room once more locking us in with vague threats that we would take the tests and there was -nothing- we could do to stop it. At this point, they sent in Watch Sargeant Moonfall who at one time threatend to kill me if I did not take the tests, and at others threatend to leave us to rot in the cell for all eternity just as they would have done to Alexander Ubel. I proposed the reasonable terms that we would accept the tests, but after which if I was proven clean I would be given the chance to study the Illithid detection device. This simple request was flatly denied!
Eugene and I discussed our options for a few moments, seeing no clear way out of this problem except through the tests of the Spellguard. My fears that this was some sort of spying device were calmed when Eugene explaind that if that was the case, the Spellguard certainly would not have done such a poor job testing councilors! Yet our other fears remained, that they would use this device and no matter what the results were they would say that we had Illithid devices in our minds.
Well, I took the test and then Eugene took it. I was declared free to go, though Jastran asked to talk with Eugene. Eugene and I wished to leave the Spellguard tower as quickly as possible and suggested the Seekers Hall or the Watch House. Yet Jastran insisted that she speak with him in the tower, going so far as to refuse to release us from the building. She insisted that I leave Eugene behind in the Tower, something that I flatly refused to do. She continued with her lies, and her subversive words for a few more minutes before the evil Agent Ferrington decided to try a new tack, the truth! Eugene was to be detained for further questioning, as the device stated that he was infected with Illithid devices. At this point, I chuckled and paid Eugene five gold coins because he really called that one! There was some attempts to arrest Eugene, but he refused say that he would take more tests if they were needed, yet surely there was a mistake as he'd more or less cooperated the whole way through.
Well, after five tests three were postive and two inconclusive. However these results were never told to us, not once until the trial that happend a bit later. Eugene was given the following options: He would go to a trial, or he would be cut open by Spellguard surgeons to have the device removed. I offered my services as the surgeon and they were flatly refused, as were the services of Larame Lathae. This to me, reeks of suspicious activity and all of the present Spellguard agents and Jastran were complacent to it, even the "Not so bad Agent" that some other Seekers seem to like so much. Eugene and I decided that he'd have to have a trial.
Adellia Tyrell stated that Agent Evil did not have enough evidence to commit Eugene to anything, I'm sure the logs from the trial are somewhere. At this point I wished Eugene good luck, and went to the Seekers Hall and passed out from exhaustion.

Who is this Delgado man? Why is he answering mail that makes it sound as if he's going to falsify more evidence against me in another mind probing test behind your locked doors? I want some answers. This is unbelievable.
