I write to inform you that Private Rayas died in a battle against a horde of cunning, magically enhanced and assumedly remotely controlled giant spiders that interfered with a mission of the Society to track down an umber hulk behemoth roaming the western caves.

His death was not in vain and his resourcefulness and valour saved the lives of us all. If the Watch can spare the resources to do so and if his soul is willing to continue the existence on the Prime Material, I ask you to have him brought back. Such men will be of great service to Sanctuary in the days to come.
