Citizens-

I have not long stepped foot within this settlement. Just a few days ago I was being carried away to become a slave of the monstrous Drow. I escaped. The Light of the Purifying Flame lead me to this settlement. It is a story that many of us share.

We have freed ourselves from Monsters only to allow them to roam our streets. I have learned that there are elections being held, I have not participated in an election before, but I did today. I ask those who would sit upon the Council and those who sit there now: Will you do nothing to rid us of Monsters and Abominations?

I have been within this city for only a few days and already I have been attacked twice, both times by Demonspawn - those that some call Tieflings. These beings are evil and are corrupted by their very blood, much like the Abominations called Half-Orcs or Orcbloods but far worse. These Demonspawn are allowed to roam the city, free to prey upon the innocent and weak. Is there no justice?

Demonspawn are cunning, but what of the other Abominations and beasts? What of the Goblins, the Half-Orcs and the Kobolds? They roam this city freely and yet they are fully known to be vicious monsters. I have spoken to various citizens on this matter, and I was told, "But some of them might be good!"

I ask you - have you ever met a good Goblin or a good Kobold? They are fables and nothing more, much like "good" Drow. These are beasts - monsters - that would eat the children of this settlement or sacrifice them to their false dark gods. Yet here they roam, freely, through our streets.

I ask you, Councilors and those who wish to be Councilors - what shall you do? How many citizens must die and how many must suffer until these abominations and beasts are thrown from this city?

Exile them and should they return have them put to death. This is the only answer. This is the only way.

Walk in the light of the Purifying Flame. May its light guide you and blind your enemies.

I agree with goblins met a nice kobold whos really helpful here in sanctuary. However must goblins are evil worms that attack me so kill all goblins who try to enter sanctury. Plus as far as tieflings there more man then fiend so they should be aloud as long as they commit no crimes. Half Orcs should also be aloud as long as they dont comit crimes.

You would judge all by their race? That is unfair treatment and i am shocked you'd even think it! You should prove your intent by actions, not origins!

Harley, in order to adress your point fully I must assume that you have had no experiance of the things that such creatures such as those described can carry out.

Kobolds and goblins are known to be slaving races, and are almost all barbariac and coarse in behaviour and action. To accept these as equals when their race's actions condemn then is beyond foolish. It is suicidal. How many of them infest Lower? How many crowd the allyways and streets of their 'district'? They are a threat to the continued existance of this town that cannot, and will not, be tolerated.

As for you seeming willingness to accept Daemonspawn and their ilk, are you truly ignorant of everything that goes on in this world? Daemons and everything they associate with and stand for are irredeemably evil and should be purged from existance on this plane. You claim to be a paladin, yet you seem to forget the basic tenants of your occupation.

As for orcbloods, their individual, as well as racial, actions are more than enough to earn people's anger and hatred. They are savage, unintelligent, and have no desire to adapt. They refuse to bend to the rules, the very laws that maintain Sanctuary's existance. How you can condone them is beyond me.

If these Goblins and Kobolds are truly of ill breed, and have been given proper course to change there actions yet refused, then something should be done about them yes.

Though having seen the majority living beside them in relative peacefulness I find this highly hypocritical. Constantly I have seen the populace running about delivering supplies and purchasing beneficial items from the goblinkind. Kobolds even protect the Canal gate making this truly a Sanctuary to all races.

I am under the impression that the majority here are past slaves, perhaps it has formed some type of bond, though of that I can not be sure. Either way such societies are non exsistant up above. I find the mingling of all races venerable and inspirational to say the least.
