Letter Addressed to Council

Eleasis 8, 151 Councilor Candidates/Council Townhall c/o Herald Regard Seizure of Property

Without seeking to delve into the stance you hold on Lower Sanctuary's claims for independence, there is an issue that I believe merits attention. Lower Sanctuary has not merely taken a stand to destroy democracy, to proclaim its 'freedom' from Sanctuary despite never actually allowing its people to vote for 'freedom'; but it has also blatantly stolen the property of citizens.

Specifically, a case in point is the outright theft of the property called the House of Light by decree of the "Lower Council". I quote:

By decree of the Lower Council, this property - known as the Beacon - belongs to the people of Lower Sanctuary, and not to any individual or group of Upper Sanctuary. It is under the management and care of Vibernum Blackhaw.

The handwriting of this decree matches that of Seeker Orison, one of the very leaders of this rebellion who threatens that only violence can lead to the restoration of property.

I desire to know what the stance of the various candidates on this issue is. These rebels have made it clear that they will steal property from its rightful owners, furthermore they declare freedom for themselves while denying their citizens the right to vote in open and fair elections either for their leaders OR for their declaration of freedom.

This "lower council" cites the desertion of the House of Light's previous staff as the reason they legally can steal the property, but fail to note that it was the violent gangsters that now lead the "lower council" in the form of Frankie's Angels who drove out the previous inhabitants in the first place.

Will you, should you win election do something about this injustice? Will you put down the traitors in Lower Sanctuary, arrest their leaders including the rebel Orison in Upper, or in some other way end this situation? Refuges still flood the Archibald estate, fearful to return home-and clearly for some there is no going home now.

Respectfully,

Barrister Fawkes
