I know that it has been a concern that in many (if not most) cases, respawning tended to give you more experience than being raised. This has been fixed.
Respawning is unchanged for now.
Raise Dead will ALWAYS cost you less experience than respawning from now on.
Resurrection will ALWAYS take less experience than Raise dead.
True Resurrection loses no experience as normal.
We may make some adjustments to the actual calculations, but at all times, the relationships of what costs more experience will hold true from now on.

Just to keep this updated,
- Respawning will remove 1/3 of your total XP.
- Raise Dead will remove 1/6 of your total XP.
- Resurrection will remove 1/9 of your total XP.
These numbers seem to be working well so far, and so no changes should be expected in the near future. Amongst other details, the percentage system means that you shouldn't worry about how close to your next level you are when you die, because you don't lose more (percentage wise) the closer you are to your next level (as you would under other systems).
