Lately, whenever I use the entangle spell, I hardly get anything from it, mechanically I mean. I'll cast it at a group of say 3-5 creatures, zombies for example, and they will just slide their way right through it without ever taking a reflex save or anything. Tried it on the gnoll quest as well.
The few times I did get a reflex check was almost always the instant right before the spell expired, which means even if they failed, there was a good chance that they wouldn't even be caught by the vines.
I was hoping to find out if anyone else has been experiencing this. Maybe someone will be kind enough to play the entangle game with me in the Arena tonight.

Entangle has always been bugged to, for a long time. It works on neutrals but goes buggy on hostiles.

The frequency that all those spells (like cob, web, entangle) make you roll checks seems to be greatly diminished on efu. I use cob a lot and notice this problem, if you cast it on yourself, you will make one check, another check about 4 rounds later, and then a final check -just- as the spell dissapate, and it doesn't seem to matter if you pass or fail that one. I dunno!

Stinking Cloud, too.
It seems to be one save if you're caught in the spell AoE when it's cast, and then again each time you walk through it, but it never makes you roll a save again if you stay in the cloud.
That's been my observation anyway.

Add wall of fire to that list. It's probably just every spell that should be firing per round when you're inside the aoe.

Very likely. They're most likely not firing due to lag.
