It warms my heart to see the House of Light reborn, and bringing new hope to the people of Lower.
I was a member, and would be happy to help you if I can, but wonder if it might be better for me to do so from behind the scenes. The Beacon doesn't need to be associated with the old House and it's failures.

Thank you for your words of encouragement.
However, one of the biggest failings of the former House of Light was so-called members who found it vital to "help it" from the relative safety and ease of the couches here at the Rock Bottom. Try to understand the frustration of Lower's residents when they learned their meagre donations were financing rounds of drinks for a handful of adventurers they'd never seen.
If you truly want to help, come out of hiding.
I am unimpressed by so-called "good" people who speak or write without action. The Beacon needs help. Desperately.
The local goblin squat has done more for the Beacon than most former "members."
Two of your comrades - May and Snorri - have been given lists of the Beacon's most urgent needs. A talented halfling scout, Merle, has been given a separate task, equally urgent. Find one or all of them. Work with them.
Of all former "members" in the House of Light, I intend to choose but two staff members. Those two will be whoever actually accomplishes one of the tasks I've outlined. If more than two manage to accomplish the tasks, I'll find more - steady - ways for everyone to help the Beacon. However, if no tasks are accomplished by former "members," then I'll be choosing the Beacon's staff by different means. Share this information with your comrades.
