Sirs, Ma'ams,
Probationary Constable Mullingham of the CDL reporting in regards of the dispersion of a case of public nuisance.
Since I am not yet an official member of the CDL, I can not access the message board in the barracks, and leave you this report by means of this letter, just like my last report.
What happened? On my patrol I found, in front of the Rock Bottom Inn, a rather large crowd. They were arguing about religion, specifically, about Beshaba and Tymora. Many were gawking and one citizen, Rhoderick Task, was actively and loudly voicing his opinion in regards of a preacher of Beshaba who was preaching, though without causing nuisance. The preacher's name was Calin Da'rael. The crowd grew and grew, and there was potential violence in the air, not aided by a halfling lass that was quite eager to challenge the preacher to a duel. Luckily, all the attention of the crowd could be dispersed with the help of an elven woman by the name of Amothiewien who helped me to uphold law and order. I managed to make the crowd disperse while she convinced the arguing halfing and the preacher to settle their quarrels civilly, which they did. In less than twenty minutes, order was restored.
I have taken the liberty to give the elven woman 75 coins from my own funds as a compensation. She helped without me asking for it, and did it well.
Dutifully, Probationary Constable Mullingham of the CDL
