Tommy:

I’ve been appointed administrator of what was known as the House of Light.

I'm cleaning it out. It should be open for every one by the end of this ride, if not sooner.

I'm changing the name to reflect its independence.

The house was supposed to be more than a hostel.

I want to open up a training room for everyone to learn how to defend themselves. I'd appreciate your help.

The house is supposed to serve the people of Lower and the Canal.

It's going to have a charter posted that will tell everyone what it does and doesn't do.

If you happen to be visiting and find there is need, please donate some of your time and read the charter to whoever asks.

Sure I can help with the training room. If you let us put up a big statue of Bane in your place. It would be tall enough to dwarf the other statues with its size, and it would be raising its right fist, which would actually double as a brazier of green light that releases a pleasant green smoke, which would gently wash all over the other statues, especially Torm. We'd pay for it. Can you do that for us? Us being me and a few others who feel that Bane is under-represented in Sanctuary.

I understand that you want a shrine.

But the Beacon's Charter doesn't include statues or shrines and I'm not happy with the statues in the main room as it is.

I think they're sink-holes for coin.

I think they distracted the last three administrations of this place. They seemed to just pray and not do anything here in Lower. I don't know if they were afraid of us or what.

Anyway, the pantheon is huge. There are only five-odd hunks of rock in the main room. So everybody in Lower whose favourite gods aren't portrayed, including myself, feels left out.

If I can find the space, the Beacon will have a small room for rituals and meditation. It'd be open to everybody. You and your friends would be welcome to use that.

But the statues are going. All of them. I just have to figure out how.
