Seeker Denten, Seekers' hall, Upper Sanctuary

29 Flamerule, 151

Denten:

I hope you are well.

Please be advised, I’ve been appointed administrator of what was known as the House of Light. It will be open and cleaned in the next several cycles and should re-open for public use by the end of this ride, if not sooner.

The name will be changing to reflect its independent status.

The house was intended to be more than a hostel. To that end, I welcome any donations of books, manuscripts and especially maps that you or the Seekers might have. They will be immediately added to our library, which will be open to all. Please share this news with your comrades.

I intend for this institution to serve the people of Lower and the Canal. To that end, the house will have a charter by which it will operate. It is in everyone’s best interests to understand this charter. If you happen to be visiting and find there is need, please donate some of your time and read the charter to any who ask.

Good dark,

Bern,

This is good news indeed. I will do what I can to gather resources to assist you in your efforts. At this point, will the charter be as it was before? Will it be a location for healing and religious teachings? Finally, what will the name of the house be changing to?

Best of luck,

Kor'us Corcael

Denten:

I understand you have much to do, but I also understand that squeaking cogs attention. So, I'm squeaking.

In addition to prying that awful tile up, I would appreciate your help acquiring any maps of the Dark Lake and Dunwarren regions for public study. This is in keeping with the Beacon's Charter, which is enclosed.

I understand the surrounding area changes quite a bit. To that end, if a mapping expedition should be held to improve Sanctuarys' collective understanding of the area, please let me know. I'd be delighted to co-ordinate it.

Please share this with your fellow Seekers.

Good dark,

- Bern.
