Temple of Hoar

Flamerule 29th, 151 Priests of Hoar Temple of Hoar Regard Manslaughter

A male by the name of Delor recently led an ogre-magi into the city. It slew two children. The male showed no remorse for his actions, and was led to the Watch House to face charges.

An unknown man who refused to give his name talked the Watch out of enforcing justice. As a matter of last resort, these details are presented to you.

Respectufully,

Barrister Fawkes

Barrister,

Were you personally present for the event in question? If so, your letter will be regarded as your sworn testimony, and will be acted upon accordingly, and his name added to the scrolls of doom.

I swear I was there. The man admitted as well in front of witnesses that the ogre chased him from caverns nearby.

Respectfully,

Barrister Fawkes

Barrister,

My thanks to you for your prompt reply. If you would be so kind as to submit a brief description of Delor, or meet me in person at the Temple to speak upon it, I will ensure that justice is done.

The male is a moon elf. Dark hair, pale skin, often in dark iron gray armor with a green cloak. The cloak has a metallic copper or golden kind of clasp. He wields a thin blade in battle.

Shortly after the revelation of his involvement in leading the ogre to the city, and the death of two children I informed him that he must face punishment for endangering the city and costing the lives of innocent people. His exact response was "you can crucify me if you wish".

I will desire to know the results of Hoar's justice in this matter. The ogre broke the children's bodies with a swing of his staff, and then crushed their skulls with his foot. It was a painful and violent way to die.

I swear all of this is truthful and honest.

Respectfully,

Barrister Fawkes

Barrister Fawkes.

The elf called Delor was apprehended while attempting to flee those that would question him, and after a short trial in which he fully admitted his guilt while at the same time remaining completely unrepentant and unremorseful for his actions, he was found guilty and sentenced to death. His remains will be crucified outside of the Lower Gates for 7 days and nights before they may be reclaimed by those that call themselves his kin.

Sincerely Yours,

Harbinger Gideon Sloane "Butcher"
