I am Maeturorant Gorthaurca, and would like to inform you that I am running for council. As time passes and certain situations have arose within the War Band, it seems unlikely that we will take over the Ruined Stair. I previously had wished our two organizations to work together on that particular project, but no matter, it is but a small setback. Presently, I work to gain a council seat. I would be interested in finding ways within the council to increase your companys payroll. You are the only defense agency whose perfomance in your duties is unmarred in any way. I would appreciate suggestions on how the council can support your sterling company. This is what I have wrote thus far on your organization.

Many call their members reckless and their goal futile. I have heard many say that they alert our enemies to our presence. This is utter nonsense. The Seekers are our best hope of leaving the Underdark. I have worked with, and spoken to, many of the members personally, and know them to be very intelligent, extremely capable individuals. Their goal can be realized. Their ability to gather information about our enemies and report on opportunities abroad while remaining undetected is unrivaled. Their efforts should be recognized and lauded. I would look for ways within the council to increase the funding that goes to this organization.---
I believe I heard one of your newer members mention aquiring a ship of some sort. I myself at one time wished to take back the docks of Sanctuary from the beasts that reside there, to open up trading and the like. Do write me back, as I believe in the mission of the Seekers and would like to support you, and have your support returned in kind. Do pass on my sentiments to Ivlysar Tal'en'qir for me.
