Letter to the Watch and Sergeant Moonfall

Sergeant Moonfall, Members of the Watch,

I am Maeturorant Gorthauca, and I am running for council. I am interested to hear from you personally what you need and desire of aid from the council. I wish to create a stronger Sanctuary, and that very much means aiding the Watch. This is my initial writings on the subject of your organization.

The Watch I know you all are concerned with the state of the Watch, so am I. I believe that all current watch members not under investigation should put forth a vote concerning their choice of a new sheriff. The sheriff shall locate and appoint a new posistion within the Watch, known as the Investigator who shall follow up on all reports of wrongdoings within the Watch, that they shall never fall to corruption again. The Investigator shall be beholden only to the Sheriff, and the Sheriff shall be responsible for the conduct of their chosen Investigator. I would place my support of the position of Watch Sheriff behind Sergeant Moonfall, as she is a respected member of the Watch, and was the one to come forward about her organizations wrongdoings, nearly losing her life in pursuit of justice.

Again, I appreciate your time and consideration. I wish to support the Watch should I become elected and wish to know what it is that your organization desires. I ask that you consider voting for myself when the time arises.

Looking forward to your reply, Maeturorant Gorthaurca

Mister Gorthauca,

I thank you for your concern reguarding the administration of the Watch. Your interests will not go unnoticed. Up to now we have have not had an official internal investigator, it has mostly been done by a member of the higher rank. This leads to problems, but as does the creation of said position.

There will always be an issue of responsibility when it comes to weeding out corruption and bad apples. This should not just fall to one man, but to the entire watch to observe and remove.

If you would like to discuss this further, come and see me.

Sergeant Marshall

Sergeant Marshall,

I shall take you up on your invitation as soon as I am able. I do admit that I have never had direct involvement with the Watch, nor know of its inner workings, and am not the one best suited to make any decisions involving your organization. I shall look for you the day after the morrow.

Regards, Maeturorant Gorthaurca

//I will look for you sunday.
