The trials of this near-lightless world are many, trials from without and trials from within. Sanctuary sits in the darkness of a land riddled with dangers. Enemies lie beyond these gates, and enemies lurk close at our backs. We carry enemies within our very selves.

The Knights of the Dark Scale will strike down all foes that stand against Sanctuary. Through strength and honor, the Knights will fight for this city's gates, fight for these people's homes, and fight for the preservation of the fallen city of Dunwarren.

But the struggle for our lives is not merely a struggle of the body and of war, but a struggle also of the mind.

Strength comes from within, from the hidden, dark and unexplored corners of the self.

The Knights of the Dark Scale will teach the Strength needed to walk in Shadow, and defend from threats which face us on all sides.
