Divine Casters and dieties favoured weapon

are favoured weapons supported in EftU?

for example if a dieties' favoured weapon is a greatsword can then, the druid or cleric, use it ..even if they dont have the feat?

--edit for typos--

You still need to take the feat.

ok.. though is a druid allowed to wield a greataxe or something if its his dieties favoured weapon even though its made of metal and what not?

EDIT: I've been informed by a FR guru that a part of the Druidic Oath requires that druids do not use any metal weapons beside their traditional ones, being the scythe, scimitar and sickle.

EDIT2: Howland got in before me!

EDIT3:

Druids are actually limited to a certain set of weapons (basically, they take oaths to only use certain weapons - any weapon in the druid weapon proficiency). So weapons like the greataxe/etc. are not acceptable.

However, yes, it is okay to use a weapon if it's the deity's favored weapon.

Note that elven druids can't use longbows or longswords, as an example though.
