A crisp sheet of paper, free of unnecessary marks and stains, contents written in a meticulously steady hand, is carefully placed in an envelope and bears the seal of the Order of the Spellguard.
Twenty-third of Flamerule, One-hundred and Fifty-one years since the founding of Sanctuary.
Sanctuary Watch Sheriff Walters,
I should like to establish a filing system for the Watch archives. One is no doubt already in place, but I ask to be allowed to try and improve upon it and determine that all files are properly sorted according to the slightly altered system. Changes will not require members of the Watch to study a new sorting method; it will be intuitive and ultimately time-saving.
My interest is solely to improve our law enforcement agencies by ensuring our access to knowledge quickly and efficiently. Any information that I would like copied for the Spellguard will be submitted for approval by yourself or an appointed officer. No files will be removed or transcribed without the consent of the required officer. It might be possible for me to add relevant information to reports for the Watch during this time as well. On my honor and my life I will not commit to memory the contents of reports that I am not authorized to duplicate.
Reference of my ability to catalogue information can be acquired from the Coordination Initiative courier and the Warrants and Trials circulation. My colleagues in the Spellguard can attest to my work in our own archives, as can members of the Associate program.
I am also willing to maintain the Watch archives after each election, not including the upcoming elections, to periodically update a Watch records catalogue, should you be pleased with my services.
- In the interest of Sanctuary,
Agent Varlam Nikitovich
Order of the Spellguard
