When you find special ammo you often find just ONE of a thing, now this would be fine if the ammo was partially reusable but because of nwn's implementation this is not the case.
So how about the normal minimum amount of 5 -> X.
Just to go along woith the simulation that more simulates the partial re-usability of ammo.

I'd agree, I'm usually happier to find a plain old bleach dye bottle or even a dagger +1 vs. Humanoids that lost virginity before their fathers rather than to get a single shot of magical ammo that seems to be found on every single quest. After doing 30 quests though I might find enough +1 damage ammunition to last me through a decent boss fight.
It's almost more of a let down in itself than anything truly fun. And god forbid if you're the collector grabbing that dungball just in case someone might possibly plan to use it even though you -know- they are going to see you drop it with the rest of the loot and look at you and just say uh... WTF?
Increase the minimum quantities found. I agree.

The downside of this is we would no longer see my favorite part of any comedy quest. Which is when a missile character runs out of arrows/quarrels and suddenly fires a bewildering profusion of different magical arrows. When you see a fire arrow follow a frost arrow it is time to duck for cover and laugh, because you know its only a matter of time before an electrical loop or a balagrans plays merry havok with the frontliners! Such mayhem and fun.
