Joesephine

I helped her and didnt get squat to show for it. I took the, "here's 25 gold for the key" route.

I think with this quest you should be able to do it at lvl 3 and 4, instead of just lvl 2, but thats just my thoughs :P

I tried this one on the blff route (I think) too and still got nothing. Is this working?

Fixed.

Damn, Thrawn must have been on a roll. Or Arkov. Or whoever. Kudos. :D

This quest is to help as a kick off for new characters just entering the city, or as a way to help build back up to level 3 if you fall back to 2. It's pretty much free xp (well, not free if you have to pay gold) which I'd prefer not to give to level 3 and 4. Level 3 and 4 chars have many other xp options.

I tried to help her today and when it gave me the quest it also gave me the "Ogres at the river" quest.

Did the quest for the first time today and the key did not strip when I was finished. It's still in my inventory.

Sorry, the part of the key not being stripped was from me. My AV program keeps nocking out my cookies and I forgot to log in.

I've a character that tried going the open lock route, and then the intimidate route with as many points as possible in each. Both got failiures. Perhaps reduce the DCs so that it's impossible to roll right in and look nifty if you've got the points.

Talking to Josephine and taking the: "Alright, I'll return with the key." option, Rufus does not give you any options to retrieve the key. The only option you get is: "Sorry to bother you, I'll be going."

Update on this, please. Has this been fixed?

In quests where I have given intimidate/pursuade/bluff options, I made it so each of the three is a different DC. Some NPC's are easier to trick, some are easier to bully, and some are easier to negotiate with. Rufus may just not be easily intimidated. Others may be.
