How much has the EfU playerbase "suffered" from the release of nwn 2?

To my knowledge its only been released in America. I still have the option to pre-order it here in Scotlan.

Psh. I'm not going anywhere. I'll buy it in the distant future, maybe, when it's cheap and my machine can handle it and they've patched initial bugs or whatever.

I will stay put here in the underdark as there is no escape!

I wasn't even slightly impressed with the game. And even my strong favoritism to the new versions of the class/feats wont persuade me to buy it. Efu has no Real escape >.> though if we DO run low on players a cool end of the story of efu would rock. I'd hate to see it just fade off. HOWEVER, I'm for hoping that will be no time soon.

The culmination of my three day study concludes that it is "too early to tell"!

While a good game so far, NWN 2 is no substitute for the RP here. I'd say it'll be a long time before we get the inevitable expansions and the legwork needed to run a PW as nice as what can be done with NWN now.

Though in the future I'm sure NWN 2 will make as good a PW as NWN, it'll be a while...in fact until the expansions stop coming unless there's a PW that really grabs me I'll just play NWN.

If i cant attempt to make seanse using music then it's clear, music is my life.

It won't suffer really at all, maybe a drop in the first couple of weeks whilst people go off and play the campaign, but then people will filter back again. There will be no properly running worlds for a good while, and it's still got plenty of bugs to deal with.

Actually, it's not being released down here in Oz until 16th November, from what I've seen.

I'll get it, play the OC and put it aside until it's patched well enough and something like EfU is available. Er, now I finally have a PC that can play it, that is.. 8)

I haven't noticed a change yet.

I won't be leaving any time soon as I need to buy a new computer before I can even think about playing the game.

That'll be a while off.

I wont be gettin it till end of january early feb when 1) i move back to australia 2) get enough cash after getting a new place to live , new car and 3) aquire my first new paycheck thus enabling me to get a new PC which can actually handle the game.

I won't leave this server anytime soon (I know you all hope it :P). I probably get/want the NWN2 as a christmas present, or then I'll just wait for the next summer and my birthdays, so not very soon. Not even sure do I want to buy it, there won't be many servers anyway and I did not play campaign in NWN so I'm most likely not going to play any campaigns in NWN2.

So no NWN 2 for me anytime soon :)

There is currently not enough substance to NWN 2 to warrant some sort of mass exodus of players from EFU. The campaign will suck up 45-60+ hours from the average person, if they bother to play through it all. With no significant modules available to play, other than PVP set ups, The scope of NWN 2 is quite narrow at the moment.

Quite like the initial release of NWN, there is a lot of potential for the sequel. With patches, there will hopefully be a slew of added content and functionality...but for all intents and purposes, NWN 2 is best considered a work in progess.

After playing a bit more, I can say the OC is far better than NWNs. Conan is right on as usual...As I said in my origional post here, I'd give it quite a bit before all the expansion goodies are out and the bugs hammered out before you start the chorus of "OMG U MAK3 EFU 1N NWN2? K PLZ THNX"

If they make EfU on Neverwinter Nights two, what about those poor bastards who can't afford NwN2, we can't split our DMs, if i had to give up reading stuff by Illuminaughty i think all my laugher would die... :cry:

Anyone else here that has a mac computer like I do obviously will not have the option to leave. If this place folds up, I'll have to pay for WoW.
