Blue Mushroom Curiosities

As the subject suggests:

♦ Erinies in the Blue Mushroom has the description for a Svirfneblin.

♦ Picking the dialogue option with Drerirry, "Is there anything I can do for you" will close the conversation.

♦ Finally, in my humble opinion the reward for the delivery quest is excessive for what is effectively a simple fed ex job.

Seconding the concern about the quest reward.

This simple quest can backfire on you quick, especially as a level one character. The path can be littered with things that can easily kill you. I think that is why the reward is what it is.

I'm not. I can't get past the damned elemental.

Well done Poika..

This area and the three quests related to it should be functioning now (but not tested). Tell me if anything is wrong with anything related to this area.

The fed ex quest now gives no exp and 125 gold. Is that to be correct? I partook in the basement quest yesterday and it seemed to work fine.

No exp for that pretty long fedex quest is a bit of a let down, being you get 50 xp for delivering a pie, which is no risk, and about 20 seconds away from where you get the quest :P

For me at least, I'd have to walk to the Blue Mushroom Heavily Encumbered while risking being attacked by things on the way there. I don't do the quest because I don't want to take the time and risk, but for people who do maybe the reward should be up'd a little bit?

To be fair, most characters will be encumbered at worst. The spawns are negligible and no ones stopping you from bringing a friend.

Fed ex quests are intended to help new characters get on their feet. As it stands, 125 gold still makes this one of the more lucrative quests on the server.

Be that as it may, it should still give exp. 50 exp will help characters get on their feet too, and a quest which forces you to walk for that many areas (heavily) encumbered through potentially perilous spawns for a level 2 (or even 2 level 2s if they're wizards) can hardly be powerlamed or rushed.

I agree. Though in that case I would suggest lowering the gold reward slightly.
