I, with one of my newer charecters, tried to translate the tablet outside of the Submerged machine. It said I was unsuccesful in my lore check. So I tried again, I came up with the old deity configuration based off of alligment, race, class, etc. And it randomly speuted names of deities, although it did not change who I had set.

What is going on here, doesn't make sense to me at all. :?

Occasionally scribed notes and NPCs will give me the tailor dialog, or other random conversations like the deity chooser. Re-starting the dialog usually gets me the right conversation.

I believe this is mainly a lag issue, but I'll look into it.

Issues of this sort should be resolved in v823.
