Not that I am anywhere even close, or anyone else on the server for that matter, to having this spell, but I figured it would be somewhat common knowledge what would happen if you cast raise dead on the undead before you actually tried it. So, erm, what happens?
Raise Dead vs. Undead
Doesnt that rip a hole in time and space itself, thus collapsing the underdark upon itself, in which you are awarded mountains of exp but cannot point and click fast enough to level up to hit points that would survive the hole, but you're too damn slow, you idiot why did you do that?
On a lighter note I have no idea. My guess is that if it is a run of the mill skeleton or zombie, that is to say a npc undead, nothing would happen. If done on a pc, I'm unsure.
I'd assume nothing would happen. The body has something in it already, a corruption or such. I'd think you could not send the soul back into the body until you drive out the evil.
For some reason, I've never had an urge to cast Raise Dead on the undead.
- I don't think that spell counts as healing, but I do wonder how your character's god would view using that spell for anybody but the actual dead?
My character specifically? He hates the undead, he'd probably never even try it, but I was curious as to what would happen, for example, if it did restore life to them and he knew that, he might consider it. More then anything I was OOCly curious.
You need to kill the undead before casting raise dead on it.
