Ok, so you all know I moved. It seems IRC is having trouble connecting. Here is what I get:
Looking up irc.darkmyst.org...
Connecting to (isp # is here), port (port number here)
Sending login information...
I just took out the numbers because I dont know if thats super secret stuff. It keeps trying to reconnect but I get nothing. I am living in campus housing now. Its not a dorm, its a house for staff/faculty. I use Klient. Any thoughts?

Check to see if you have a firewall up. That is what keeps me off at work.

Set port number you connect to from 6667 to 5000. Worked for me.

Put both of those suggestion together and make sure that the firewall lets that port number through. I had to set my firewall to allow the application when I put IRC on a new machine.

If you're at university, finding a port that gets through the proxy is a pain. I have to use 6668 which is a secure irc port, rather than 6667 which is the standard one.
