Bill for Theft and Damages to Spellguard Property by a Seeker, in the sum of Fifty gold coins by the Twenty-fourth of Flamerule of this year.
- Seeker Flabbergasted Larouge of undetermined mental state and an intoxicated companion "Vince" were responsible for a disturbance in the public Spellguard Tower lobby. Seeker Larouge stole our desk bell for reasons he cannot explain; any citizens who would have sought available Agents were unable to do so during the time it was in his possession. Each served time for Public Nuisance, Seeker Larouge additionally fined Fifty gold coins for theft to cover the attachment of the bell to our lobby desk, as well as re-enchantment should the bell's magic have been disrupted during its removal and carry.
He was unable to pay his fine, caryring only ten gold coins which I spared him. This should not be a terribly large amount of money for the Seeker organization to be billed. Deliver the Fifty gold coins to myself or Officer Barkely by the end of ten days beginning with the delivery of this letter, or there will be an additional billing of Twenty-Five gold coins for time lost.
A less formal note with the bill I recommend that Seeker Larouge be provided with an updated copy of Sanctuary's lawbook and a lesson in Sanctuary's modern history, particularly regarding politics and law. He was unaware of the Spellguard's authority and at least one of our laws, and was unaware of Commander Simms, instead referring to Officer Barkely as the Order's leader.
