Freeman Archibald:
I've taken up my stylus in the hopes that you are, as I've been told, an astute and reasonable man. I write to you on the outside chance that you haven't been approached with this idea:
The declarations of your henchman Baelister further alienate the free people of Lower Sanctuary from Upper Sanctuary. We have ears. Most of us have citizen stones. More of us than Baelister seems to realize can read, and read well.Further, your henchman's very public opinion, on behalf of your house, has done nothing except reinforce the perception that Upper Sanctuary is really nothing more than a larger, richer gang.
This only fuels the unrest experienced by the free people of Lower Sanctuary.
While I have neither the force of arms or coin, I would like to speak with you in person about this. I have no interest in speaking with your henchman, as my voice is rather soft and sometimes difficult to hear.
The orphans made in the tragedy at the bottom of the lift earier this ride are being cared for by the "craven peasantry" of Lower. It is how we honour the memories of our own.

Blackhaw,
Firstly, I would like to point out that Captain Baelister had nothing to do with the slaughter in Lower. That was entirely executed by the Watch, and various citizens which aided them.
Secondly, I am quite aware of the fact that you can read, and apparently you are a capable author as well. However, I find this attempt to act as if all hostilities are aimed downward, odd. Is it not Lower that has placed a Bounty on the heads of the Captain and myself?
After all of the pains I went through, to aid Lower, I was continuously treated poorly, and I found it most ungrateful. However, I am a forgiving man, and I can agree to move forward amicably, as I believe it to be in the best interests of Sanctuary. If you wish to meet, you may seek me out either at the Town Hall, or my Estate. I would come to you, however it could very likely cost me my life.
