Sealed Letter to Alexander Archibald, The Estate.

Alexander,

It is with great pain that I now pen this letter to you. The temple of Hoar requests the presence of yourself, and Captain Baelister at your earliest convenience to be tried for the crime of the murder of a lawfully appointed footman of Lower Sanctuary.

Councillor, you are a wise and learned man in my regard. I beseech you to present yourselves with the utmost of haste so that this matter can be resolved without any of the associated fuss of the appearances of the two of you attempting to evade justice. Remember, Justice denied anywhere, diminishes justice everywhere.

Sincerely,

Harbinger Gideon Sloane "Butcher"

Harbinger Sloane,

After the "footman" stands trial for his attempted murder on my person, and his subsequent chasing of me into a hoard of chosen.

~Alexander

Alexander,

If a watchman of Upper asked me to leave an area, or a melee, and I refused, I could be arrested. The same applies in lower with the footmen. My understanding of the situation is that your group was presented with the choice of leaving, and refused, at which time you began casting spells upon our civil servant.

If this is not the case, please forward to me a signed, sworn copy of your testimony of the situation, and I will see to it that it is reviewed by the Doomsayer. If this is indeed the case, I implore you to be reasonable, and conduct yourself as you would have others conduct themselves while within your authority.

Harbinger Gideon Sloane "Butcher"

Harbinger,

Then the account you have heard, is wrong. Seek me out.

~Alexander

Alexander,

A trial is performed so that both sides can be heard. Attend your own, and I give you my word that your side of the story will be heard before any guilt is determined, or any sentence is read.

This is no longer a matter of my friendship for you. A charge has been laid against you and yours, and in one fashion or another, you will both find yourselves a day in the temple so that your guilt or innocence can be ascertained.

Yours in friendship, but Hoar's in Justice,

Harbinger Gideon Sloane "Butcher"
