I find him posted outside the gates of the duergar enclave. I'm taking a guess, but its likely his POST_ isn't right next to the dummies. This makes it tough to look at what you're making on the rack.

I'm not sure what the problem was, since his waypoint has him right by the dummies. Post if he wanders again, it may have been a DM moving him for some reason.
