Letter to the Council of Upper Sanctuary

Greetings,

You are hereby officially and dutifully informed that all foreign armed forces within our community must withdraw within three (3) nights from the date of this letter's delivery.

This most specifically concerns the armed merceneries patrolling near the People's Republic of Lower Sanctuary Memorial Lift of Sorrow.

As a gesture of good faith, the mercenaries will be removed - so long as there is a guarantee that the lift will remain protected for the betterment of both sections of Sanctuary.

However, the lift certainly does not belong to your organization and you may be assured the Council of Sanctuary will not accept the seizure of property.

As before, the lift will remain free and in good repair to all who choose to use it until such a time as we may repair the stairway that once united our town.

Councilor Bhast

This is acceptable, and your promptness is to be commended.

The physical lift itself is to be considered to be located in a Demilitarized Zone located between the independent cities of Upper Sanctuary, and the People's Republic of Lower Sanctuary.
