I don't know if it always happens, but the last two times I have tried to rest in the middle room in the rock bottom it has not let me.

Missing the trigger you are. Just move over a little. I have the same issue in that room; and I think I just move closer to the bed and viola.

Yeah if you go left or right of the centre you'll miss it, sleeping dead centre in the room works. Always confused me when a paranoid character of mine went to sleep in the corner of the room and couldnt even after paying.

I fiddled, not sure what was wrong though. Make a new report if this room remains problematic.
