A +4 save modifier is pretty handy, especially to an ambitious rat-hunter.

Perhaps they should be removed, as they are a bit overpowered to have everyone wearing one?

If the plague plot isn't going to be continued immediately, I'd suggest removing them in the login script - magic wears off and plague helms crumble to dust.

I saw more in the trash-piles than I saw people wearing them last time I was logged in. Seems most people don't want them!

I fully approve of people running around in gaudy bird masks.

Me too.... Thay are very good items but as was said before not many are still about so its not too big a deal. I just didnt think it suited my guy so he got shot of his.

I always found the images of those bird plague masks rather frightening... I loved logging in during the plague with the altered music around sanctuary and the sight of all these people in bird masks. Very atmospheric.

I agree with Arkov and chezcaliente. Logging in and seeing eveyone in those helms was great. Of course, I thought the plague was great, too...

Consider the helm as a serverwide gift from the DM to all the players who happened to be around at the time.

Ghail plague masks

Well....that would entail taking exsisting Plague helms and making them pink or somthing...and lets face it, some people thought they looked stupid as it is....on second thought the idea of ghail selling them makes so much sense
