Morgiah's slightly defective potions and lotions!

Tattered, weathered posters can be found in scarce locations, scribbled on rather hastily, but with enough care to make the writing, obviously in a feminine hand, legible.

Dear Citizen! Are you a mage? Wielding and casting the spells that make people fall down? No? Not a problem anymore! Due to extensive research, today even the most imbecile amateur can profit from the latest revelations of White Wizardry, by storing them in special brews and concoctions, at reduced prices. You will probably ask yourself, or even me; why so cheap? Well, many spells are still on an experimental base. It is extremely important to read all the notices and be aware of the risks that may come with them. I can and will not be held responsible for any unwanted effects caused by irresponsible abuse of my products. Little children, elderly people with known heart problems and especially pregnant women should not take any of these!

Currently to be made on order:

Cantrips: Resistance (White magic) - A superstitious individual would call this a lucky charm, it helps in most situations by making minor dynamic manipulations to user and surroundings, 50 gold pieces. No known side effects. Light (Red Magic) - Saves the effort of carrying a torch, for this potion illuminates an area around the user by making them glow with an inner light, 45 gold pieces. No side effects, in fact this concoction is said to taste rather good, albeit the taste varies somewhat randomly.

1st circle spells: Endure elements (White magic) - Lets you withstand extreme temperatures for a while by countering environmental conditions with the respective opposite, 40 gold pieces. May cause a minor heat stroke or a cold after it runs out, depending on what elemental kind it absorbed. Expeditious retreat (Green magic) - Even with rather bad health condition, you can now win most races easily, for it makes movements very rapid, although you will lack the reaction time to coordinate most of it, except for running, 40 gold pieces. Causes a short breathlessness in 35% of the cases after use, to avoid this, proper excercises before using it is recommended. Taking it too regularly may cause addiction! Avoid. Iron guts (White magic) - Speeds up metabolism to exude noxious substances from your system, avoids poisoning often on first contact and helps coping with the long-term effects if that fails, 40 gold pieces. This pre-emptive medicament is renowned for causing diarrhea..! Protection from Alignment (White magic) - Comes in two flavours, generally dubbed "good" (blueberry) and "evil" (cherry), has a wide range of effects, most likely preventing those with the respective mindset from messing with your mind via magical means, 40 gold pieces. May render you unable to commit acts that you had been protected from for the reminder of a day, if it should last even longer, see a White Wizard of your choice before it becomes chronic. Should you be of the same mindset as what the potion protects from, you may start hating yourself, avoid being alone with a sharp objection on you for the duration of the spell! Identify (Yellow Magic) - Tired of never having anything to say when scholars talk, then this potion is for you, albeit the effect is quite short, you now can tell things about artifacts you never even knew they existed, 85 gold pieces. The taste is very bitter and a pleasant flavor currently be worked on, aside from that it may well be that another more or less important memory will be erased from you in order to make room for the newly gained insights; should it be something as vital as the information how to walk or breathe, you require the immediate aid of a priest or a white wizard f your choice.

2nd circle spells Lesser Dispel (White magic) - The finest that White Magic can offer at this ridiculous price, the potion is capable of removing various effects that have been bestowed upon you, positive or negative, 90 gold pieces. If you are a sensitive person, water it down first, it is said to remove certain character traits if the concentration is too high, which is hard to cure. Ghostly Visage (Blue magic) - Also known as "Blur", you become impervious to smaller to medium injuries and are generally hard to hit and untouchable by harmful 1st circle magics; everything made possible by moving part of your body mass to a nether plane, 90 gold pieces. In nine out of ten uses it might make your vision blurry in addition to your shape, also some people may take your for a ghostly apparition and react accordingly, especially if your voice becomes twisted or temporarily unavailable due to this effect. See Invisibility (Yellow magic) - Will no longer allow you to be fooled by illusionary effects and spells that remove objects and living organisms from plain sight, 90 gold pieces. May function too well and lets you see things that are not really there, "I-see-dead-people" syndrome. Bull's Strenght (Green magic) - Makes the user much stronger, independant of their current corporal potency, without actually affecting their intellect as the name sometimes implies, 90 gold pieces. Has been known to fluctuate a litte, so not each potion may have exactly the same effect. Only side effects are possibly a certain loss of self-esteem after it ran out as well as a lack of fertility(women) or potency(men) for but a small couple of days. Warning: This is not a relyable contraception nor should it be used as such! Endurance (Green magic) - Enhances the immune system of the body that it enters, effectively making it easier to cope with injuries and ward off diseases and so on. More healthy than a bowl of chicken broth, but only for an indefinite time, 90 gold pieces. Fluctuates like the previous product, as well as it holds the possibility of leaving a strange bulbous growth in random places for another few hours when the duration ran out. Has been reported in several cases to enhance the mammary of women, however taking it for exactly this purpose is -not- recommended nor encouraged by me, so do not do it! Especially when breastfeeding to babies, no one can foresee the complications that this might cause! Invisibility (Blue magic) - Bending the lightbeams around the body of the user, this will invoke the illusion she actually is "not there", allowing her to move more or less freely, but does not suppress other indications like sounds, smell, etc, 90 gold pieces. A slow, partial recovery after the duration can make up for some strange effects, which are, even though looking rather gross, entirely harmless. Cat's Grace (Green Magic) - Along with improved hand-eye coordination, this enhances reflexes and general nimbleness by a process that is unknown to the most still, yet seems to work, 90 gold pieces. Fluctuates as most green magics do, yet seems relatively safe. Supposedly, some individuals will have a hard time holding still while under the effect of this potion. Using it to better perform "lewd" acts may not be safe. Ultravision (Green Magic) - Bestows upon you improved vision in the dark that is even superior to the keen visual senses that the typical Underdark dweller calls their own, 90 gold pieces. No real known side effects, although the use in well lit rooms or even under sunlight is extremely discouraged. In case someone should stare into bright torch- or daylight while under this effect, the momentary blindness should pass after approximately three days. Owl's Wisdom (Green Magic) - Gain insights and common sense as you have never known before! Complex situations are way easier to figure out now as if you had experienced them a thousand times before, 90 gold pieces. No side effects known yet, research has not been fully concluded, you use those at your own risk. Death Armor (Black Magic) - Makes all opponents less eager to strike the user for they would initially trigger a small magical backlash that is supposed to vaporize internal organs, 120 gold pieces. Not for the faint at heart, but the psychologial effect can help with paranoia, although not for too long. Avoid hugging a beloved person while under this spell at all costs.

3rd circle spells Haste (Green magic) - A new development of the retreat spell, this works on an entirely different level and does not only make the organisms move at an increased speed but also enhances the reflexes of the brain to allow the user to keep up with the new speed, allowing them to talk faster (for spellcasting) and do complicated actions without fumbling at one and a half the usual speed, 199 gold pieces. Possible side effects can be a rapid age of skin or hair while under the effect of this spell, but the aged particles will regrow normally after they have been removed once. Some individuals seem to become speech impaired for a short while as well afterwards. Important: May cause early birth! Do -not- take when you are unsure wether you are pregnant, and especially not when you know it! This is not recommended for abortion, nor should it be used for such purposes! Clarity (White Magic) - The best to cure headaches, sleepiness, dizziness and vertigo! It will also keep you safe from any of the such for a short while after, promise! Might hurt a bit when used, 99 gold pieces. Is said to cause light-headedness and light-heartedness, generally resutling in people bargaining for more than they can actually take. Avoid tall buildings with large windows and staircases in case you may feel an overwhelming desire to fly. Protection from Elements (White Magic) - Your purchases allowed me to derive a new, more powerful version of the 1st tier spell that protects against hazardous environmental situations! Interestingly, they both also can protect against corrosive fluids and high voltage, 135 gold pieces. Along with the increasing effect, unwanted side effects could be reduced as well, althought for a slightly increased value. This may cause a minor itching rash or short-lived spasmic twitching of limbs or eyelids for a tenday at best. Dispel Magic (White Magic) - Another improved form of a lesser spell, at more expense, but it simply packs a good deal more punch, if you have fallen under an extremely annoying or painful spell effect, 199 gold pieces. Only tested on "lesser" beings so far, the effects on a more humanoid organism might be interesting, I recommend seeing a priest first before considering this concoction. Displacement (Blue Magic) - Finally it has been made possible to fully understand and even copy the natural ability of the so called discplacer beast, namely creating an exact image of the caster several feet besides the original body, resulting in being struck in only about half of all cases, statistically, and logically, 199 gold pieces. Blue magic is surprisingly reliable, but due to the ingredients used in the extract the user can suffer nausea, dizziness, seeing double and eventually a hangover in the morning after use. Abuse of the potion is not recommended. Taking more than five a day may cause glaucoma after several decades of usage. Not addictive.

Please note that even though you can sometimes come upon potions of accuracy and shielding during your travels, it is currently not possible for any local apothecary or alchemist to obtain the required ingredients for those in Sanctuary and the vicinity, and I personally suspect that even a trading relation with the Drow would not change this.
