The Kuo-Toan Gate Guard at the island gives you the option to persuade, bluff or intimidate your way into a certain area of the island. I've found that if one pleased, he could keep trying to bluff, persuade or intimidate until he rolls high enough to enter.

I bet this is an issue for every single one of our skill check scripts.
