Sir Dungal Toboerski The Synod of Slaa---the lizardfolk is implicated in the plague already ravaging our city.I propose that we demonstrate to the lizards the foolishness of attacking our city. We shall send a diplomat to their Synod and demand reparations for their roll in spreading this plague. I expect the Council will need to approve this of course.
Should the Synod refuse to make adequete payment, our diplomat shall be vested with the authority to declare war upon them. I expect our Knighthoods and a force of Spellblades under Amothiewien should be capable of infiltrating the city's defenses and wreaking necessary vengeance and returning with a suitable war chest to enrichen this city.
I expect the Golden Mercenaries may be interested in signing on to this endeavor, but negotiations with them will need to open.
