This bug is still around:
1) If somebody in your party finishes a solo quest then your journal will be updated (also stopping you from doing the solo quest)
2) If somebody in your party starts a solo quest your journal will be updated (stopping you from starting the solo quest)

Is this an issue for all solo quests, or only for a specific one?

I think it's pretty much all of them,

Are you certain you can't actually do the quest at a later time yourself? I distinctly recall this being fixed at some point (but the journal would still update!). Granted, I'm aware that a lot as changed recently, so maybe it's something that has to be fixed for each individual delivery?

It needs to at least NOT put an entry in your journal if a party member starts or finishes a solo quest. Is there no way to stop it modifying every party members journal?

I, too, am under the impression that despite the journal change, this has no effect whatsoever on your ability to actually take or finish the quests.

You're right.. I tested it, it just updates the journal erroneously.
You can still do the quests start or finish them regardless of what the journal says.
This certainly isnt helpful that it's updating other people's journals though, is there no way to change it?

Okay.
Let's get this figured out.
I have adjusted the "Clerk Myrta Cleidt delivering paperwork to Operative Miller" quest, attempting to fix this bug. If this bug still occurs on that specific quest as of v798, please report it here. If it -does not- occur on that specific quest as of v798, please report that here as well!

Releasing josephine (at the entry stair near the rock) I gather is supposed to be a solo quest, but if somebody in your party does it, you cannot start it.

Please test the specific quest that I mentioned (I haven't changed any of the others) and only test it after v798 has gone up (it hasn't yet).

Many thanks. Any news on this?
Also, on an unrelated note, I know that quests are sometimes not spawning any treasure in containers -- that should be fixed in v799.

Please test this, I beg of you!

I've been trying, everyone I ask has been busy, it just takes a level 1-3 character to party up with me for a bit so I can test it, it shouldnt be that hard but it seems to be.
I'll try again.

Me and another character joined party, then I went and did the quest with him in the party.. (clerk)
Then he went and started and finished the quest, seems to be working fine.

This should be fixed on most quests. The remaining quests where this is an issue will need to be fixed on a case-by-case basis, so please report them as you find them.
