A warning to all good citizens of Sanctuary!

The man known as Marvolo Cartwright, who runs the business "Cartwright Funerals" is a known necromancer and infernalist!

The man offers this "service" for free so he may come to the gravesite at a later date and animate the body for his insidious experiments with the undead. Not only is animating the dead horrific for all involved, it results in unending torment for the body's soul, being forced back to the Material Plane into the rotting, decaying form of an undead being, unable to control his actions and forced under the necromancer's will. Animating the dead can damage an immortal soul and is a crime against nature.

Please, avoid this man like the plague AND DO NOT LET HIM NEAR THE DEAD, LET ALONE TRAVEL WITH HIM IN DANGEROUS AREAS. He'll turn your corpse into a rotting hulk infused with the energies of the Negative Energy Plane.

You have been warned, do not expect him to show your body or your soul any mercy, he appears charismatic and likeable at first, but underneath is a black heart made of evil.

Your attitude towards Marvolo comes as a stark contrast with that of another paladin of Torm I have met, Leon. This is perplexing. Might we meet sometime (in person) to discuss your viewpoint in further detail?

Madam Goldheart,

You are correct about a few things concerning Marvolo and I understand why you would assume such of him, most would too due to his past deeds, but unless you have solid proof of his true intent, I implore you to speak to me before you continue this and if you truly have the proof to back up your claims of his intent concerning his funeral services then I ask that you reveal it to me, but until then I say to you, this man wishes redemption, do not push him away from it.

Evil can be redeemed, by slandering them though, you might be pushing them away from the Light instead.

Marvolo is tainted, his crimes are beyond redemption. Avoid the necromancer at all costs for the sake of your immortal soul and others'. Leon Belmont is honourable, but he is being played a fool.

Elise Goldheart - Paladin of Torm the True

[On his way to the Rock Bottom, Jullias notes that two notices have been removed, and another has been added by the one signing as Elise Goldenheart. He quickly scribes another notice of the exact same wording as his previous one and attaches it where it was before, just below the first poster, near but not on it or blocking its message in any way. I don't care about his being a necromancer. Marvolo is very rude. Why, when I lead an adventuring party to clear a cave of ettercaps, he called me useless and tried to mutiny! Outrageous!
