When concluding the Green Cave quest, our journals were also updated with the Drunken Hobgoblin quest (Brewery), saying that we'd sucessfully completed it.

This is also an issue when cancelling the quest, except that it pops up two additional journal entries saying those quests were failed. It was both the Drunken Hobgoblin Brewery journal, and the Cleaning out Town Hall Storage journal entries.

I also can't for the life of my figure out how you're supposed to complete this quest successfully. Whatever it is, could probably do with being made more obvious.

I think I also noticed a couple traps about halfway in that were triggered but didn't seem to do anything.
