Contract:

The Clan Grunstubhle, are in agreement with the following terms set forth by the Tigereye Mercenaries. These terms are as followed:

The Tigereye Mercenaries in agreement with the Clan Grunstubhle, hereby award the Clan Grunstubhle a contract of Arms and Armor. The Clan Grunstubhle, will have all rights to the supplying of arms and armor to the Tigereye Mercenaries.

The Tigereye Mercenaries in agreement with the Clan Grunstubhle, hereby award the Clan Grunstubhle the rights to raise their store anywhere within the Lower Sanctuary area. This is up to and including the eviction of citizen housing. This will not include the eviction of prior business ownership.

The Tigereye Mercenaries in agreement with the Clan Grunstubhle, will at all times drive off other arms and armor dealers within the area. The Tigereye Mercenaries will see that the merchant does not return and all his wares seized.

The Tigereye Mercenaries in agreement with the Clan Grunstubhle, will at all times provide protection from all manner of humanoids, beasts, and creatures. This protection can and will include no less then one standing sentry. This sentry is to act on action only, and no verbal provocation.

The Tigereye Mercenaries will at all times will promote the wares of the Lower Sanctuary Clan Grunstubhle Goods store, in order to increase sells and benefits of both parties.

In agreement with the Tigereye Mercenaries, the Clan Grunstubhle will give 15% of all sells made in Lower Sanctuary by Clan Grunstubhle Goods, are to be turned over to the Tigereye Mercenaries. The 15% may take the form of discount wares, or a weekly payment to the Tigereye Mercenaries. This discount or payment, is to be delivered to the Tigereye Mercenaries, no others outside the Tigereye Mercenaries are eligible for the stated above.

In agreement with the Tigereye Mercenaries, the Clan Grunstubhle will deliver quality arms and armor made with richer and stronger metals, as well as surplus arms and armor.

In agreement with the Tigereye Mercenaries, the Clan Grunstubhle will also provide the Tigereye Mercenaries, large orders of arms and armor in a timely fashion. Orders past the date and time they are due will be seen as late. If an order is late, 10% of total cost will be deducted.

Explicitly state that statisfactory quality will be judged by the Tigereyes.

The Tigereye Mercenaries will at all times will promote the wares of the Lower Sanctuary Clan Grunstubhle Goods store, in order to increase sells and benefits of both parties.

Both sides would benefit from Tigereyes promoting the wares. But the Tigereyes are a mercenary company seeking a supplier of arms/armor at good value; not an advertising company searching for an account. Take it out of the contract, mention it when dealing with the clan.

The Tigereye Mercenaries in agreement with the Clan Grunstubhle, will at all times provide protection from all manner of humanoids, beasts, and creatures. This protection can and will include no less then one standing sentry. This sentry is to act on action only, and no verbal provocation.

Do the Clansmen desire this? Defending our interests is important. If this deal is mutually profitable, as it is designed to be, the Company would have a stake in the Clan's well being. The Clan would certainly be allowed to call upon the Tigereyes in a time of need. I doubt having sentries in their area of business is the best option; Duergar clans seem to be closed groups, if not xenophobic.

This point will likely need negotiating with the Duergar.

State more simply that the Tigereyes will ensure that the Clan will be the only arms/armor merchant in Lower Sanctuary. No need to limit our means with restrictions.

Anywhere is anywhere--drop the part about evicting citizens. Keep the part about existing businesses. I'd like to see this hedged gently -- "anywhere reasonable" or "anywhere not in conflict with Tigereye's current duty to defense or interests".

Specify a period. Perhaps three month trial period with an option to extend to a year at the end of the period if both parties agree.
