Dear Ebernezza,
I have a work I have created, and would like to be published. I cannot meet with you as I am rarely in the city, but should there be any fines I must pay to properly produce it, leave a letter for me at the Rock Bottom, and I'll pick it up when I can! Much obliged, and big fan of the works you carry.

Essay of the Nobility of the Lordship of SanctuaryIn Sanctuary, there are many who claim power. The Watch, the Spellguard, the Council. With just right, they defend the city from threats, and do their best. Sometimes they must deal with disgrunteled citizens, but their duties are nothing like the nobility of the city. The nobles must remain charismatic to the people, while remaining in good favor to the various groups in the city. Since their position is often fragile and held together only through public support, we should turn our attention to who we, the public of Sanctuary, should support as the nobility who we will respect as such.
There are several choices for nobility. Some might say only the Founding Families should be nobles, leaving only the Archibald Family and the Bresley Family to be nobles. Some want Councillor Bhast to be a noble, as he has justly done a good deal for the city. Some also wish for Toboerski to be a noble, for their own reasons. I would support only the founding families gaining a status of nobility, else we get into the complicated details of who wishes to be nobility, and what they "must do" to achieve it, which completely defeats the purpose of nobility. Nobility is something which is given, not earned. The Founding Families are the reason that we are all here today, which is far and beyond what any of the other people have done- for they would not have done anything without these brave families.
Those who wish to gain nobility for themselves are usually power mongrels. They seek only to better themselves, and give themselves power so that they can rise above everyone else. Truly noble people do not need to be referred to by titles. Alexander Archibald does not require the title of nobility, nor does Yorrick Bresley, when he is seen. However, Toboerski fights against those who do not believe that he is a "Sir," and Gregor a "Lord." They came with a lot of money, gained somehow, and bought land. They are not noble, they have not done nearly enough. They definately have aided the city, but so have all who live in the city. Their main claims to fame are fighting threats, but the Watch, Spellguard, Seekers, Society, and almost every other group does the same- and does it humbly, not needing to present each feat as a great accomplishment, but more of a duty that needs to be done. Councillor Bhast has done much more for the city, and deserves to be recognized. He is definately a good man, and has great public support. He has built the lift to allow refugees to enter the city, and has continued to support measures to defend the city, while requiring no attention.
To come back to the point, the Founding Families are two families that everyone can agree are a major part of Sanctuary. They continue to lead us to this day, as a Mayor and a Councillor, and provide leadership for us. They are solely worthy of the titles of nobility to be conferred on to them, and their children, so that there is not great debate amonst the common folk about who else should get it. If too much debate occurs over who should be a Lord, then those who do not have power will use political campaigns to try to strengthen their power, which in the end -only- strengthens them, and not anyone else. The people need to work together under one banner, the banner of the Founding Families, to find their way in this land. If we divide into political squabbles over who should lead us, then it will easily be the end of us. Imagine an invasion, where nobles are trying to order the defence groups around. Chaos would emerge, and we would be half dead while the enemies laughed at us from the cliffs. No citizen wants to be laughed at while a Lord struggles vainly to keep his own power.
These truths I have seen with my own eyes. Nobility is to be conferred among the Founding Families.
